A Hearty Halloween 2021
The first A Hearty Halloween that Northland Horror ran on its own, at Whareora Hall. It raised just under $2,000 for Heart Kids Northland.
Northland Horror had spent 2019 and 2020 joining in with other people's Halloween events. This was the first one the crew put on themselves, in a borrowed hall at Whareora.
It was meant to be a one-off. 150 tickets sold, around 300 people came through the doors over the day, and it raised just under $2,000 for Heart Kids Northland. That was the end of it being a one-off.
The tickets were mostly for children who wanted to trick or treat, with families coming in to take photographs or simply out of curiosity.
